SAM Playcare

Are your little ones too young for day camps & too big to just sit around all summer long? We found that many of our day campers had younger siblings who couldn’t wait to come to camp and enjoy all of the fun activities their siblings talk about at the dinner table, so we created a program to involve them as well. Sports & More now offers a safe, fun, and creative haven for your little ones during the summer, while big bro and sis are attending day camps.

SAM Playcare offers convenient and flexible scheduling to accommodate your busy schedule and your child’s needs. Full or half day options are available for children ages 2.5-4. Half days are from 7AM-1PM, and full days are from 7AM-6PM. While children are required to bring a packed lunch, healthy morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.

SAM Playcare Activities

SAM Playcare believes that all children should be treated with respect and kindness. There is a wide range of planned activities designed to encourage the development potential of each child. These activities are mixed with periods of supervised unstructured play through which children learn social interaction and problem solving. We encourage the moral, social, and emotional development of each child, and create fun and positive experiences for them.

• Tumble Times: Under the supervision of qualified tumbling instructors, the children have access to the popular Tumble Times Gym. According to our campers, this is one of their favorite activities.


• Music Time: The children will be involved in sing-along's, will enjoy listening to their favorite cartoon jingles and more.


• Dress Up: Under the supervision of our skillful counselors, the children will take a journey through our Make-Believe Room and have fun dressing up as some of their favorite make-believe characters.


• Arts & Crafts: The children will have the opportunity to create fun and unique projects.
  
• Toys, Toys, Toys: SAM Playcare will make sure the children are entertained and learning new skills by providing many age-appropriate toys.


• Story Time: The children will enjoy stories read to them by their animated and energized counselors.


• Movie Theater: The children will be pleased with their movie time. Whether it be cartoons or movies, everything viewed will be age-appropriate.


• Theme Days: Every Thursday at Sports & More is an exciting Theme Day where all of the campers and counselors dress up, decorate the building, and participate in special theme-related activities. Some of our most popular Theme Days are Survivor, Maui Waui, Wild West, Carnival Games, and more!

Is your child looking to become more flexible and fit, while having lots of fun? Tumble Times is a gymnastics program for children to learn balance, coordination, confidence and increase flexibility through exercises on balance beams, gymnastics bars, trampoline/tumble track and more.
