Our Family

When the Rastelli family took over Sports & More in late 2007, the building itself was placed carefully in the hands of Ray and Geraldine Rastelli, a loving couple that have been married for the past 30 years and raised 1 handsome son and 3 beautiful daughters. Geraldine has hand a very hands-on approach to the building and visits the facility almost daily to help with its programs and to meet-and-greet with Sports & More’s patrons.

The various programs that were already in progress and the new programs that the Rastellis started were headed by Ray and Geraldine’s lovely daughters.

Their middle daughter, Tara Rastelli (soon to be Mrs. Michael Carr), became the new Camp SAM director and parties director. She brought new life and amazing new options to both Camp SAM and parties. Camp SAM offers so much more than it had in previous years, such as giant inflatables, specials to give children freedom of choice, field trips to local attractions and state-of-the-art equipment. Sports & More’s birthday parties have increased in popularity because of her ability to offer our patrons convenience and exceptional customer service. Tara has also started up three new incredible parties: Video Game parties, Karaoke Music parties, and Bounce parties. These new parties come with the same amenities and conveniences of our original parties but with greater appeal to today’s youth and teens.

The Rastellis’ youngest daughter, Jenna Rastelli, recently became the Tumble Times Gymanstics director. She started two new classes for children with special needs and has many ideas for reviving the Tumble Times program, to keep it fresh and interesting for children who having been participating since day 1 and for children looking for a gymnastics program to join.

Their oldest daughter, Rachael Rastelli, brought her All-Star Cheerleading team to the facility. South Jersey Storm, which Rachael started in 1997, is a cheerleading program for boys and girls of all ages and all levels. Along with cheer teams, the program also offers tumbling and stunting classes and various summer clinics. Rachael has recently started a cheerleading team for children with special needs that is completely fee FREE for their parents. All uniform, practice, and competition costs are covered by the facility and different fund raising.

Rachael is a firm believer that young girls become stronger both emotionally and physically by the programs that they participate in. Camp GLAM is her creation to help empower youth and teenage girls to be confident, courageous, and strong-willed through various pampering and glamorous activities.

The Rastellis have given new life to Sports & More and have many innovative and inspiring ideas for new programs and activities for both children and parents.

Our Staff

The Rastellis take pride in Sports & More and take pride in who they hire to represent Sports & More and its various programs. All new staff are interviewed and screened to make sure they are people of great character and will emanate the same qualities that the Rastelllis radiate. All staff are then thoroughly trained in the program that they are hired for, as well as given information on the various other programs so that everyone you come in contact with will be a well of knowledge on Sports & More and its offerings. All staff are also encouraged to spend time together inside and outside of work so that when you meet them, you know they are co-workers, friends, and as close as family.
